No, you're not understanding. The problem is completely device related.
Using the MSU updater, it locks up soon after getting into the ram downloader, at the initializing bp screen. The updater continues to try until it times out on the device end.
When using RSD lite, it also times out at the exact same point, but at least i get a better error message then it just stopping.
I'm convinced its a device problem and not with the software or connection.
This particular Q is apart at the moment, i canibilized it for its housing... Tomorrow or the following day, i'll get it back together and run the updaters and try and get some error logs or screen shots posted up here for more ideas.
