 The Internet is Only the Highway
Sure don't want you to think that I am poking fun at you when I say that the internet is only the highway, and your Q is your vehichle; as such it is subject to traffic patterns, be they smoothly flowing or in your case jammed. When are you experiencing these jams--is it always or only at certan times of the day or night. I ask because I have experienced them, too.
Being a four-month Q owner has given me the opportunity to see that not all times are good for being online; and payday Friday, or Sunday evenings here in Austin, Texas with Sprint is, as you say, so slow!!
It took a lot of thought on my part to implement the speed hacks detailed in these forums--that and moving my e-mail and browsing history cache to SD have made a BIG DIFFERENCE in how my Q operats and runs. I don't have to continually dump old files to free memory (best check that first) and as a result everything is so much faster. And I do mean FASTER. This thing is h-o-t!
Maybe this wont help you much, but at least you know someone else had the same issues and has solved them to satisfy himself.
