It doesn't matter what problem you have, a policy is a policy. Especially if you already sent off for the rebate, which requires you to send a copy of your next bill, and you have 30 days to return it if you have the box, and all the original equipment undamaged. So you should be past the return period before you even send off for the rebate. Although I sympathize with your situation, you should have kept the box until you knew you wanted to keep it and liked the phone. And for that guy that we have to deal with every day saying "SHOW ME THIS IN WRITING!" "Any equipment purchased can be returned within 15 days of the purchase date with the following criteria: must be in the original packaging, free of noticeable abuse, accompanied by this receipt." And on a smartphone you actually have 30 days. so we give you some extra time to get comfortable with the phone, because all smart phones have huge learning curves for the average consumer. But you can't blame a business for sticking to its guns on issues.
