If the file you download is a .cab file, then you can just copy it to your phone and run it on your phone (using File Explorer)... it'll install the program, then you can safely delete the .cab file.
If it's a setup package (.msi or .exe) on your computer, then when it runs, you'll have to use ActiveSync... because it will queue the .cab file to be run on teh device the next time you sync. |
