As far as I have read, only the original firmware release of the Q allowed direct tethering through DUN. So, I'm not sure how that is working for you, unless you have actually configured an external dialup ISP? Otherwise, the original method worked by dialing #777. But again, that's not *supposed* to work anymore. I'd be curious to see you:

- Verify your software version
- Post shots of config

In addition, you are supposed to pay $15 a month for the "privilege" of tethering. I don't know if they will catch you doing this or not, but it's been pretty well confirmed that PDANet keeps you under the radar. It requires Activesync to be running, but that's hardly a catch. It works great. Well worth the few bucks.
