I'm new to this, but from what I can see, PDAnet should be the way to do this without too much fuss, and without the need to pay Sprint more money on top of what they are already getting (in my case, WAY too much each month...).

With a Mac PDAnet says it will only pair via bluetooth, however, which is slower than tethering with a usb cable (my phone synced nicely with isync using the bluetooth, though).

I plan on getting PDAnet (34.00) and trying it out via bluetooth. If it fails I'll simply load it up under my Parallels copy of Windows XP which has not failed me yet on my MacBook Pro.

I'll post back if it works.
