If you are the ultra cheapskate, you can always use IE and go to accuweather.com or google.
I have google mobile setup with a custom page to give me weather and news. It loads pretty fast and is only checking the weather when I want it to (thus saving my precious battery life).
But it may be easier for me, I live in Oregon and until July the weather is the same, showers with a chance of clearing that will later turn into showers.
