RIM today announced the BlackBerry 8830, RIM's first device to combine CDMA technology with GSM for global roaming. Does anyone know if any other PDA/Smartphones are going global? I am actually considering the BB (which i don't like) because of this functionality. I travel to Europe 3-4 times a year and it is a pain to get set up on another phone.
