I have looked high and low and still can not find this file. I have updated Visual Studio with everything I can find for smartphone and so on. I still can find the moto q emulator despite your step by step process you give

First.. open up Visual Studio 2005.
Go to Tools -> Options...

Select the Device Tools -> Form Factors

Click Save As.
Save it as Motorola Q
Highlight Motorola Q ... hit Properties
The skin xml file should be here:
C:\Program Files\Windows CE Tools\wce500\Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone SDK\Deviceemulation\Motorola Q\Motorola_Q.xml
Uncheck enable rotation support
Horizontal and Vertical resolution should be at 131 (default)
Uncheck Show Skin....
Set
Screen Width -> 320
Screen Height -> 240
Color Depth -> 16
Check Show Skin.
Now when you bring up a form in the designer of Visual Studio, you can select Motorola Q! |
