but last year my buddies sister was diagnosed with and received treament for cancer. So far it's all clear, but she goes back in for a screening in June to make sure it's not making a comeback tour. In about a month, she's participating in the Relay for Life in her hometown. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, basically people raise moeny for "teams" and the teams walk, run, or whatever at a track for 24 hours. It's honestly kind of a silly way to raise money imo, but some people are really devoted to it and it's raised a shitload of money in the past.
