I live nowhere near EVDO. I called Sprint and asked them why they are charging me for a service I do not use (and cannot use). The CSR was polite about it, and took $5 off my monthly Vision charge. So now I'm only paying $10/month for unlimited data.
Oddly enough, Verizon just enabled EVDO in my market, and I can use all the EVDO data I want by forcing my phone to roam. It's nice watching Slingbox finally.
I hope I don't get charged for data roaming. I have voice roaming on my account, so I'm ready to fight if needed (I have never heard about data roaming charges). Guess at this point I don't care when Sprint decided to add EVDO to my area...I already use Verizon's EVDO! (and for only $10/month...muahaha!). |
