Sorry to come on this late but the last post by Paco is where I was going to being before I even read it. Freezing at that stage is often a problem with something installed that is in the start up.

I noticed you mentioned something about the microSD in and out, if something is installed on your microSD that is also set to "startup" with windows, and for whatever reason it can't reach it, it WILL often times freeze even though sometimes it will just bitch and move on.

I know you are upset and frustrated and I don't blame you one bit, but is it a possibility for you to take out your microSD and then format it using default settings on a windows machine and then place it in your phone and then do a master reset which will destroy everything and bring it back to factory settings (not a clear) and then use the phone's microSD format to make sure all is well in the world and it can properly see it and then start from there again?

I know its a bitch and I just had to do it myself and months of customizations and operational perfection flushed down the toilet but hey such is life right? So I share your frustrations and good luck.
