I was told that ALLTEL was buy verizion this upcoming year.
They will be under one umbrella but still be 2 different companies...and Alltel then can move into areas like Dallas and set up shop..in the same stores as Verizion.. Alltel can move into Dallas because there is no room.
This is what the guys at the Alltel store were telling me.
And this will make Alltel the largest telcom network in the states
