I had an e815 until Christmas when my wife got me a black Q for a gift. I liked my e815 quite a bit, but I love my Q! The quality of the Q phone itself (reception, sound, etc) is just about the same as with the e815. But of course it does so much more than that. As for battery life, it doesn't last nearly as long as the e815, but I haven't had it totally die on me either. I charge it every night as opposed to every 3-4 days with the e815. I have it check for email every 15 minutes, do a little web surfing, and a few phone calls every day.
As far as should you wait, I guess it depends on you. I figure there will always be something new and possibly better right after I buy an electronic item. And I'm sure there will be here too (Q2). But if you like the features, I'd say get it. If there is something that you'd like that is missing, maybe wait.
