edit: yep, just sent an MP3 from my MacBook to the enV2 and it saves to "My Sounds" not the music folder and you cannot move it.
Also, to check if the phone sees the memory card go - Menu \ Settings & Tools \ Memory \ Card Memory |
Cliff: The phone sse the memory card, because when I do the steps you stated above, it shows how much memory is left on the card. (I only put 1 song on to start, so there is plenty left...)
Can you play the songs from the "My Sounds" folder?
Someone at Howard Forums posted these steps:
If you formated the card in the phone there should be a "My Music" folder. Put all the music in there, make sure the ID3 tags are complete (artist, album, track name, track number, etc).
Put the card back in the phone, open the music player, and select an option to play (artist, song, etc), put the right soft key for options and choose "Rebuild Music Database".
That should scan all the songs and list their info in the music player on the phone.
Once I get to the point I "bolded", I am stuck...I get to the right soft key for "Options", and when I click it, nothing happens. I can't get the "Rebuild Music Database" screen.
I appreciate everyones help on this!
