although i cant offer you advise on answers concerning battery because ive only had the phone for about two weeks (although my phone does well, I'd say I use it lightly (don't surf the web, only use as a phone/PDA/games/music) and I get about two days from my only test thus far), heres what i can say:
the black is only different then the silver in color and in composition in that it has a rubberized feel, that i love because its grippy and i feel confident that i wont drop it as easily
the Q2 is going to be announced mid February, as you can see on the home page of everythingq, even if its announced then who knows when it comes out (ex. Apple announced iPhone in Jan for a June release)...no idea if itll be worth it to wait, i chose not to wait any longer once the iPhone was announced because i wanted to stay with verizon and just chose to upgrade to the Q
I love the Q, these forums are a great bonus...I couldn't be happier that I just upgraded, though you might want the latest and greatest, in the end itll definetly be an upgrade so enjoy it!
