My guess is that Motorola will offer a line of smartphones (like most other manufacturers). I don't think the Q10 will be touchscreen. My guess (and it's just a guess), is that the Q10 will be the Q9 replacement and the touch screen Moto Q will launch as a new model --- perhaps under a different brand.
It seems everyone is jumping on the touch screen bandwagon given the success of the iPhone. If RIM can release a
touchscreen BlackBerry, then expect them all to jump in the fray. I mean, the BlackBerry is the quintessential QWERTY/non-touchscreen device.
