1. From my experience (only in the St. Louis area) they're about the same; never had a problem with reception in most areas
2. Don't know about GoogleEarth (and am not quite sure Google Earth even exists for a mobile device), but Google Maps works just fine on the q.
3. From what I understand, the Blackjack and the Tilt both have Windows mobile on it, where the Blackberry has their own proprietary OS. I've used the blackberry extensively before, and have some basic experience with the Windows-based units. You'll be able to do much more with a windows-based phone (ie: registry edits, hacks) than you will with the blackberry. It largely boils down to personal preference & ergonimics customization for me. I suggest taking a look at the various video reviews out there on teh intarwebs for starters. |
