wellll, i dont know how to determine that for you.
I like it it works in conjunction with but is NOT twitter,
you can set brightkite up to post to twitter, pics, location, notes.
So technically yes it could manage twitter for you to some extent. It is different in that is set up by the location you determin.
You can try it and then delete it if you dont like it.
