Its not actually push for many email accounts. I used this but had some issues with getting emails and looked at their forums: it doesn't use IMAP IDLE, but some GMail (maybe some other types too) signal to Seven to check the email. The other accounts will just check every 5 minutes, making the app absolutely useless in comparison to the built-in Outlook. Supposedly in the final version, it'll also use text messages as a trigger for push, but as of right now its useless to me. |
