I use Vista Sync Center at home and it would not sync any mail/contacts/calendar/task until I setup my outlook then it gave me all the options to sync with Windows PC. Maybe you had Outlook Express setup?
Are you sure you don't have Microsoft Office (word,excel,powerpoint.etc.) installed on your computer? Or did you?
there are only 2 ways to "automaticaly sync" it is if your using Activesync(w/outlook) or sync to an Exchange server. Using Wireless sync you have to set it up and activate it to run... I'm pretty sure it won't auto sync by itself.
Speaking of ActiveSync when you say the [] contacts box is grey'd out do you mean on the phone "activesync" or the computer "activesync"? |
