It appears to be an open source Mail and PIM manager that can be installed on Windows or Linux servers. My main reason for looking at it is to have push mail services. I would like to be able to push mail to my Q from my web host, and this program seems to offer that prospect.

If you don't want to install and maintain Funambol server on your machine you can use the ready-made service
myFUNAMBOL offered by Funambol.
In case you want to experiment installing the server you can refer to
Funambol community support for more precise help.
