You are better off, family doesnt always mean they are good people to be around. Oh the stories I could tell! Not about my parent's, they were ok really, I have to say they did the best they could, my dad busted his rear to keep us fed, clothed and everything else.
Sometimes friends are better than family, in fact alot of the time friends are better.
