I used to work for alltel and i still use alltel service and i use a Q.
i bought my Q on ebay, and what i did after i got it was i went in to the store and had them program my phone number in to the unit, and then had them switch the esn over. they'll give you crap for telling you the phone won't work right, and blah blah blah. its b/s. do not by any circumstance switch your plan. if you have an old plan like me (my rate plan is 3 yrs old) and you switch to a different plan, they will tell you that you can't go back. this is true, because the system locks out all the old rate plan codes when they expire.
i personaly have been using my Q for a year now and havn't had any problems and i bought an HTC for my wife this same way and set it up with alltel the same no problems. |
