Anyone work for Alltel or know if I would have to get it? If I do have to get it, is it possible to sign up for it when I get the Q9c and get home and then call alltel and just switch back to a voice plan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
first of all this issue could probably be solved with a simple search...discussed many times

but if you want to not have to sign up the phone for the smartchoice plan than you are going to have to buy the phone full retail or buy it on ebay like me

. You might be able to buy it with the service contract and then pay the first month for SmartChoice plan, and then register your old phone and then call back and re-register the Q under just phone and go through all the plan changing process. Although if you are on a family plan it might be cheaper to go with the SmartChoice plan...actually today I just put ours on the plan b/c it is saving us $80 a month

...Your decision now....
Hope this helped
