Yea..I could see with a ton of use how it could. Like the release button being pressed too many times! It was only $5 though with the gps purchase.
I drive a Jeep so the mount shoves my Q almost in my face! Actually it's almost parallel with the steering wheel. I could see where if you drove a caddie the 12" extender would still keep the Q about 3' from ya..haha!
