 A Victim of Convergence
Greetings. After snooping around here for a month or so, I thought I'd finally register and introduce myself. BTW---GREAT FORUM!!!
Well let's see how did I get here. For the past 5 or 6 six years I owned and cherished an Audiovox Maestro PDA. One of the least expensive Pocket PC's ever made, but well worth the $249 I paid for it. After a fruitful life, my Maestro bit the dust a few months ago. Not being as "up" on technology as I thought I was, I just assumed I could go out and find another $250 PDA...WRONG!! My how the market has changed! What few PDA's still produced are expensive!! But more surprising than that was the "convergence" movement that I missed while living under my "Maestro Rock". Gone, apparently, are the days of stuffing your pockets with a cell phone, a PDA, a MP3 player, and a camera...
Time to converge.................
So anywho after trying out a Treo, Samsung i730, and tinkering with Blackberry I’m giving the Q9m a whirl. So far so good…..I might enjoy it even more if I read the user’s guide …. Or better yet if I continue to take advantage of the SEARCH function here……… |
