Use the method stated above for attachments you can't open. The folder is \Windows\Messaging\Attachments.

If you can open the attachment, then it's much easier to do it this way.
While the attachment is open, go into a file manager and look in \Application Data\Volatile. You should find the attachment there. Just copy it to wherever you want.
