You have to remember you're dealing with a 300MHz device... high FPS isn't expected, but we should expect something fairly smooth. Make sure that you aren't trying to watch 1500kbps movies... Whenever I convert I aim for ~300kbps (that's a 48 kHz stereo audio sampling rate at 63 kbps and 320x240 241kbps video (WMV 9 codec) stream). Video's encoded at this rate play flawlessly through both TCPMP and WMP on my Q. |
