If you have to do a manual install, yes. Most programs with installers will install in a sub-folder of
\Program Files automatically, so you shouldn't have to do anything special.
I haven't installed any programs on a memory card yet, so I don't know where they end up. (On the Pocket PC, they usually ended up in a folder off the root of the memory card.)
