hey! I am in a similar boat; my SDIO card is in teh mail, and I can't wait! I too wanted to make sure connecting would give me no EVDO costs, but when I called, the guy said he could take me off evdo and put me on 1x but then pic message won't work AT ALL. I never use MMS, but I do receive the occasional 1-2, so I want that feature to work. so I shall just be very cautious when I get mine to make sure I am using wifi. How's the card? does it pick signal up well? does it drain battery? |
