Create the following DWORD value:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone\
CallProgressIdleTimeout = 1000
I set mine to 1000 (milliseconds) because I want it gone fast. You can set it however you like. |

How'd you find it?
I just tried it and it works!
I first set it to 10000, made a call then hung up, then set it to 1000, made a call then hung up and the differnce was obvious.
No reboot needed between changes.
