ok, i dont know about this particular carrier but it is possible with some coaxing to get a Q w/o a data plan. I managed that with vzw a short time ago. Even tried to tell me I couldnt do it (posted here in frusrtration while on hold) Could tell your carrier that you have knowledge of other people with Q.s that have data blocked on their phone.
Bottom line is its not impossible, but it might take you to escalating the call to a supervisor and/or their technical people.
You could tell the also that other carriers will block data and you are considering switching...that might get them moving as well. |
