So Was your friends Touch a newer version? or a Sprint version basically? Cuz from what Ive read the Sprint versions keyboard is "supposedly" comfortable to type with just your fingers and w/out the stylus. It has 3different keyboards for different settings and apps. and I know the screen shots I saw were of a larger "Full" touch-keyboard that has each letter independently displayed. I dont remember which carrier had it before, I think it was over seas actually and Sprint's the first to carry it in the U.S. and it has new features (like the larger keys for more finger action) and a different larger processor, and twice the memory/speed. |
It's cool...I put the comment about the triple posts before you apologized/explained. (Didn't know if it was some sort of spam or something) No worries. My friend's Touch is from Sprint. He may not know about the multiple keyboard layouts that you speak of, but the layout he was using had 2 letters/key...and it was too hard to type w/o the stylus. I haven't played with it enough but I do know my Q was way more worth the $100 I spent on it (over a year ago) than his Touch that he spent like $300 on!
