Sorry to dig up an old topic but, I have the Moto ROKR T505 and it works pretty well.. I live in Northern VA just outside of Washington D.C. and almost every radio station has some thing on it.. The T505 does a pretty good job of finding a weak station and using it... CNET had some nice things to say about it too in a video although they haven't reviewed it yet..

I've only had a couple of times where it actually sounded "staticy" but, overall it's worked better then I thought that it would..
I use the T505 with my Verizon Q for calls and my Samsung YP-P2 for music but, you can stream music and take calls from the Q if you want. For me though, the Samsung MP3 player sounds better for music then the Q..
