1) plug the Q into a charger at night (not that hard and not that much of an inconvenience) or get a spare charger for your office or your car;
2) wasn't there a thread about this recently? It's something that can be fixed;
3) so it takes an extra button push to turn it on (sigh) - you could try plugging it in to a charger first and not letting it run out of battery power in the first place (save yourself an extra button push);
4) you probably shouldn't use it while driving - you could get a headset and use voice command;
5) so don't lock your keyboard before you charge it (save another couple button pushes);
6) lots of ppl get by fine surfing the internet on the Q (try opera mini for a more desktop-like experience);
7) Sigh . . . ;
8) how about a clear screen protector? I'm pretty sure they're scratch-resistant;
9) a valid complaint if you have large fingers - but if that was enough of a dealbreaker for you, then why spend so much time on this forum to complain? Sounds like the Q may not be the best match for you - time to let it go and move on . . . may I suggest a Nokia?
But seriously, which Q do you have? A first generation Q1 or a Q9? If the Q1, then I would suggest giving a Q9 a spin. It may just change your mind. If not, then to each his own. You can enjoy your Nokia, and I'll keep on enjoying my Q. |
