I tried, trust me, they wouldn't budge. Talked to 2 managers. None said it was for new customers only, they said that it was an advanced device credit and the reason the regular phones have an online discount that isn't an advanced device credit is that the Q also has a mail in rebate.
In other words, no one really sounded like they knew what they were talking about, but numerous people all told me the same thing.
Finally got a nice lady that ended up helping me out but I still have my doubts whether it's going to work or not. She didn't understand why the managers were saying I couldn't get the discount either, so she helped me do a few things to get it or something.
It's complicated, so no sense in explaining it if it doesn't work. My Q9m shipped and should come on Wednesday. The rep is calling me back Wednesday evening (after verifying that the phone arrived) and she is going to walk me through all the things she told me to do.
Will let you guys know then if it all works out. If it does work it'll end up costing $49.99 after the $50 mail in rebate and $50 NE2 credit.
