Download Windows Mobile Device Center for Free from MS, and it works with Vista ok. I use it on my laptop all the time. I hate vista, but this is one of the few things that does work.
As for battery life, I'm not sure what you would consider good battery life. I'm always watching video, web surfing, and making calls on it, and I have yet to kill the battery in a day. Even if I do, USCC added a separate charger and battery for me to swap to. I haven't yet had to.
I should also add to the battery life that the only time it's plugged in is when I go to bed at night. I don't use a car charger, and usually only synch at night before going to sleep. |
