Can send text to emails, can't send pix to any email or phone. Have to use web based email and none of them work too long at a stretch. I have had to "re-do" hotmail acct 3 times last few months w/ tech support help b/c of the changes they do to their servers.
Our anger is the lies that we/and but not least, I was told when we bought our phones. Yes on MMS but when we got home & it didn't work I took our phones back for replacements 3 days after we got them. We were told by the Sales Assoc. that Alltel was going to do updates by the end of October. Too late for the 30 day grace period to take phones back. If you go to other cell phone sites you will find that this is happening all over the country with Alltel Sales Assoc. One newspaper on line is calling it Alltel's Big Fiasco!!
Is Alltel trying to make it up to the ppl being lied to? No. They are "denying accountability" for their sales assoc.'s w/c proves to me that they know what is going on but refuse to address it either at their retail stores or to their customers who were lied to.
I have always in the past taken pix's of damaged cars and just sending them to the insurance companies with MMS from my phone. Now I have to hook phone up, have a card reader handy that's hooked to my computer to send the pix with either my phone or camera. My boss just growls whenever he sees my phone. Lost production & time is what this is costing me.
Lost confidence in Alltel is what this is costing them. I have to live with this lie & this bill for 17 more months. That's where my anger comes to the forefront and I steer ppl away from Alltel as much as I can.
This is also adversely affecting my husband's job as well. He can't get pix to his phone from anyone where in the past they would send him pix of what was broken and he could call them back & tell them how to fix it. Now he has to stop what he is doing to go see what is broken so it can be fixed. Again, lost productivity and time.
Sorry for the rant. But, maybe at least ppl will now understand why customers are so angry with Alltel and want out of their contracts.
