Yeah. CDMA -- the cell technology that Verizon uses -- is big in the US, Japan and Korea but otherwise it's GSM -- the tech that AT&T uses -- almost all the way. That is the bigger part of why there is no Verizon global phone. If you go to Europe or Mexico alot it may be in your best intrests to switch to, say, AT&T. |
