You mean he can't create files for the tone in other directories, don't you? Because I can find them alright. I cannot set a created mp3 for an Alarm, but I fixed that by renaming my mp3s to the default filenames (there are ringtones I will never like so I sacrifised them - however, they are safe and sound on my hard drive ). You just drag/copy&paste them into your Ringtones folder and click 'yes' when it asks you to overwrite the files. (No, you cannot delete them, but yes, you can overwrite them)
