With its tight, yet flexible spring clip on top, it's super easy to secure as well as to remove quickly your Motorola Q when needed. It is molded and shaped with the same quality workmanship as Seidio's other world famous holsters, providing excellent protection and security. The Motorola Q faces inward in the holster, to protect the screen and keyboard from scratch and dents.

I bought this clip in June because of the "face in" design and the verticle position allowed when clipped to my belt (the only one I could find like this). It also allowed for the larger battery if I ever choose to buy one.

The rotating assembly started to slip after 1 month and completely broke off when I bumped it on something after 2 months rendering the clip useless. I immediately bought another in August assuming I got a bad one. The rotating assembly quit working again after 1 month and when I bumped into my office chair today (after a total of 2 months) the entire clip broke off again just exactly like it di on the first one.

The idea is great but the quality is unacceptable. Do not buy this product.

Seido Moto Q holster

Bought the holster 5/3/07. It broke on 5/27/07. Received a replacement on 5/29/07. The clip broke off on 8/16/07. Very poor construction. Certainly not worth $29.95.

Good clip but still some problems...

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful

In April I bought both the OEM Motorola clip and this one. I liked this one and haven't ever used the Motorola clip for two major reasons: 1) This clip holds the phone with the screen side inward [as advertised above] 2) This clip allows for use of the extended "fat" battery [do to the aforementioned "face in" carry method]. I haven't noticed that the clip presses any unwanted buttons but I always lock the keys anyway. THE MAJOR PROBLEM is that after about a month the "click stopper" that adjusts the 180 degree swivel on the clip (allowing for vertical or horizontal carry) broke on mine as well, thus the phone isn't always straight up and down on your belt or even sideways but somewhere in-between. It's annoying enough that I am considering paying $30 to buy another one. Which brings me to my second gripe - the cost seems a bit high for a plastic clip (that breaks). The last gripe is that the cutout for the charger plug isn't quite big enough and occasionally when you think it's plugged in it isn't [this may be because I have a BlackQ which is slightly thinker] I should add that there is a nice feature the one wouldn't expect - a felt liner inside to protect where the case and the screen/keys meet.

Bottom line if you are looking for a clip not a case this is still probably the best bet.

Just OK

This is a very nice holster. The design is great, but the workmanship is poor. The adjustable angle click stopper has already broken in less than 6 mos, and from the start the holster would press on the center button of the multifunction control and change the phone to random screens while in the holster. Sedio says that is normal, but in my opinion it should have enough clearance so none of the buttons get pressed. Things I like are the spring loaded clip that holds the phone in.
