Jawbone can be worn on either ear, and you can customize your fit by choosing an earloop and earbud from the several shapes and sizes provided. Jawbone's ergonomic design enhances the acoustic performance and keeps the device lightweight, stable and comfortable. Jawbone measures the ambient noise around you and automatically enhances the incoming audio and adjusts the volume to make every incoming call sound crystal clear. Using adaptive sound technology, the Jawbone uses two microphones and a voice activity sensor. When placed against the cheek, the sensor detects voice vibrations rather than picking up the sound from your mouth. User reviews

Too Many Drawbacks to be worth the cost, Wednesday, 01 August 2007 Written by Ed I was very excited to own the Jawbone on my never-ending quest to find the perfect Bluetooth headset. While it seemed very comfortable and the dynamic noise reduction seemed to be more than just hype, the connection reliability between it and my Q were unreliable. Often, when receiving an incoming call, the headset would answer the call, but there would not be two-way talk path. I experimented with this with quite a few incoming calls and found the failure rate over 40%. The other drawback of this headset is that, while it is very stylish and comfortable to wear, it doesn't store well. There is no way to fold it or in any way compress its considerable size to put it away when not in use. I had to return mine after a few days of use.
